The first writing critique is here! A very talented high school writer in the Atlanta area was confident and kind enough to submit her work to our website for critiquing. Below are the beginning pages of this student’s novella followed by the critiques. The format used for this critique was two positives and two possible improvements.

Hello Writer,

We are excited and more than happy to critique your work and help you get to the final product that you are set on achieving. Beyond offering a few line by line edits, our critiques are meant to look at the big picture and your fiction as a whole. We can help you build on your strengths and improve on your weaknesses. We would love to help and we are always up for a good story! There is no page length requirement or specific genre.

If you are interested in submitting your work, please send it as a Microsoft word attachment to Justin@aywi.org. We guarantee a prompt response and some helpful information. Also, you can help other writers by having your work and critique published to the website if you feel comfortable about it. We look forward to reading your work!
